FUNiX is an online training system providing information technology courses with high practicality and an international learning community. In achieving the goal of transforming people for the digital era, FUNiX commits ourselves to creating a learning ecosystem that brings about tangible results for learners via the FUNiX Way.
FUNiX JAPAN
“During the visit of Prime Minister (PM) Suga to Vietnam, we stated our commitment to the PMs of the two countries that we would contribute to digital transformation. We deliver on our promise by opening FUNiX in Japan.”
FUNiX Japan is an initiative of FPT Corporation to contribute to the human resources for Digital Transformation in Japan.
FUNiX Japan utilizes the FUNiX training methodology (FUNiX Way) and localizes the services (mentors and Hannah) to best serve the demand of Japanese learners. Students will not just only learn the latest technology but will also transform themselves to be active learners, creators of technology and global citizens. They will be the new citizens of Japanese “Society 5.0”.
FUNiX Japan is an active member of the GTI Consortium (a network of Japanese academia – government and industry to promote the innovation & development of engineering and technology). FUNiX also maintains partnerships with many Japanese institutions such as Shinshu University, Gunma University, Shibaura Institute of Technology, Tokyo Denki University, etc.

Cuong Hoang
Director
Cuong has 10+ years of experience in international education when he served as the Dean of FPT University Global and Director of FPT International Student Exchange Center. Cuong also has a good reputation with many Japanese universities and institutions.
Xuan Quach
Academic Head
Xuan has 15+ years of experience in education and technology when he served as the Academic Director of FPT Polytechnic and FPT Aptech. He was one of the key founding members of FUNiX and built the system from the beginning
Quyen Be (Bella)
Business Development Manager
On 2008, after graduating from Foreign Trade University, Quyen came to Japan for her Master Degree.
She worked in different fields with the background in Research and Marketing before working for FPT Japan. Since 2021, Quyen has been a member of FUNiX Japan and be responsible for Business Development
Huyen Do
PR & Marketing Manager
Huyen has years of experience in Vietnam’s media when she worked at the International Channel of Vietnam Television. Huyen served as Branding Manager at FPT University Global before joining FUNiX Japan as the PR & Marketing Manager.
Thuy Duong (Tiffany)
Program Development Manager
After graduating from FPT University in 2014, Tiffany went to study abroad in Japan.
Tiffany joined FPT Japan Co., Ltd. in 2018 and worked as BrSE.
For FUNiX's work, Tiffany is responsible for providing a learning plan and optimal course after understanding the training demand via survey results, student's requirements and wishes.
Thanh Nguyen
BD Executive
Thanh graduated from Da Nang University of Foreign Language, and worked as the Account Manager in charge of developing partnership with Japanese universities at FPT University Global before joining FUNiX.
PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT US
Traditional chalk & talk teaching approach is no longer satisfactory to the quick and huge changes of Industry 4.0. Only online teaching and learning itself or at least teaching and learning supported by online platforms can. Very positive feedback from our students who were offered FUNiX’s C++ Basic and Advanced Programming courses have affirmed the quality of the training program of FUNiX.
日本の大学としては今後、オンラインでできる授業と対面で行うべき授業を峻別していくことが重要になっていきます。そしてオンライン授業については、今回それぞれの大学内でオンライン化された科目を越えて、大学間で連携して相互に配信を行うことや、MOOCにある優れた授業を活用していくことが拡大していくことが予想されます。FUNiXのユニークなメンタリングやHannahのシステムがこのような大学カリキュラムと連動する形になれば、世界レベルで良質な科目の受講に積極的にチャレンジし、確実に修了することを強力に支援することになるでしょう。また今後大学に従来以上に期待される機能にリカレント教育があります。
We at Gunma University would like to form and develop a new type of international education, which we name it as “Smart Campus-to-Campus” where we can share our educational and research resources among our partner universities online. I believe FUNiX would be a basis for our Smart Campus-to-Campus, and it would be a great online learning platform.
I feel very motivated when my Hannah asks me about what I learnt and if I could share it. I was really happy to see her reaction and how she shows interest in what I’ve learnt. That’s something we don’t usually experience at university--sharing my knowledge with others. I think that’s one of the big benefits of the FUNiX program.
I feel my skills and understanding of Data Science and listening to English improve day by day.
I’ve never learnt Data Science, so I was concerned about my learning and worried about self-management. But Hannah always helped me, for example when I had difficulty with learning, she advised me to ask mentors and take notes. It is a very good system for learning at FUNiX.
