COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course introduces learners to the basics of data science, including what data science is, topics and algorithms in Data Science, and its real-world application. In addition, the course introduces the methodology used in data science and the Data Science project life cycle. You are also taught basic Python programming and a review of statistics and probability.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

• Know basic Python programming, data structures in Python and how to work with Pandas and Numpy.
• Understand the necessary statistics and probability for Data Science.
• Understand basic concepts, topics, and applications of Data Science.
• Understand the methodology used in data science and steps to solve data science problems
