COURSE DESCRIPTION
In the past decade, machine learning has given us self-driving cars, practical speech recognition, effective web search, and a vastly improved understanding of the human genome. Machine learning is so pervasive today that you probably use it dozens of times a day without knowing it. Many researchers also think it is the best way to make progress towards human-level AI. This third course of the DS program dives into the basics of machine learning and its application in different fields such as healthcare, banking, telecommunication and so on. You will learn about the most effective machine learning techniques, practice implementing them and getting them to work yourself.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Have an overview of topics in machine learning
- Understand and practice Regression, classification and clustering algorithms
- Understanding Recommender Systems
- Practice algorithms in real problems
- Know how to represent data using the Matplotlib libraries
