“5 years ago, we revolutionized Vietnam’s education by establishing the first online university in the country – FUNiX. Now, we welcome you – the Japanese students – to continue writing the story of FUNiX revolution”

– Mr.Tran Dang Hoa, Chairman of FPT Japan Holdings stressed in his speech at the May Opening Ceremony of FUNiX Japan, held on May 10th, 2021. In support of students quickly completing courses and developing careers in the IT industry, the Chairman also committed to recruit FUNiX graduates to work at FPT Japan Holdings.

Enrolling in Machine Learning Programs, students from Chiba University of Commerce expressed their desire to conquer deep learning to serve many personal purposes after graduation, such as: start an in-house business, working in the IT industry or simply want to know all the knowledge related to machine learning.

“I believe that joining the Machine Learning course at FUNiX will help our students acquire knowledge in a systematic way. In addition to improving their IT proficiency, this is also a great opportunity that helps our students ‘Go Global'”

Ms. Hashimoto Takako, Vice President of Chiba University of Commerce shared at the ceremony.

This May, FUNiX Japan also welcomed learners who are currently working at the companies to join the Data Science course. Although they work in many different industries, they all have a common goal of wanting to learn how to apply technology in their work.

Representing the FUNiX mentor community to speak at the ceremony, Mentor Nguyen Van Tam stressed that: At FUNiX, you will not have to study alone. We are ready to accompany you to overcome the difficulties encountered in the process of acquiring new knowledge.

The opening session had fun and friendly moments when participants shared their “promise” before officially entering the course. “I will take the course firmly and do not forget the assignment”, “I will study at least 1 hour per day” or “I will stop drinking alcohol while learning” are some of the promises sent to FUNiX Japan.

The ceremony ended with the video named “FUNiX Xin chao” as a greeting from FUNiX Japan team.
