FUNiX partners with world-class universities in developing high quality programs
In August, FUNiX announced the partnerships with two top global universities in Australia and the US – Deakin University (Top 100 in the world for Computer Science, Engineering and Technology) and City University Seattle (Top 50 in the best Universities offering online programs in the US). The cooperation helps to improve the academic quality of the FUNiX training system, while broadening many opportunities for transnational education cooperation.
FUNiX cooperates with Deakin University, Australia to offer Bachelor of Information Technology
Students will study online for the first 1.5 years at FUNiX and transfer to Deakin University in Australia in the following 2 years. Graduates of the program receive a FUNiX Certificate and a Deakin Bachelor of Information Technology at the same time. Study time at FUNiX can start as early as being in high school.

Professor Bas Baskaran, Pro Vice Chancellor International Research Partnership and Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment, Deakin University also expressed the optimism about the trend of online education in the context of the pandemic. He believed that the two sides would bring the innovative and flexible programs to students in both Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

He also expected that the two sides would have deeper cooperation in the future in building programs for post-graduate students and workers, which would focus on improving employees’ personal skills through online courses on emerging technologies.
Sharing the same opinion with the two professors at Deakin University, Ms. Chau Ngo – Education Services Director of Victorian Government Trade & Investment in Vietnam affirmed, “I think this is not just a temporary trend due to the impact of the COVID. It will continue to be a long-term direction of international education in the future. We have accompanied Vietnam in many different projects and we look forward to be an important partner of Vietnam’s online training in the long run.”

With the cooperation between FUNiX and Deakin University, the cooperation is now being expanded in the field of education besides IT.

The founder of FUNiX also welcomed Deakin students to join online activities with FUNiX students and build a great online community.
FUNiX cooperates with the US’s top university in IT
Also in August, FUNiX officially signed a cooperation agreement with City University of Seattle, USA to offer Bachelor of Science in Applied Computing Technology.

Accordingly, students are recognized to convert FUNiX credits equivalent to the first two years and transfer to CityU for the remaining two years, getting the Bachelor degree. CityU degrees are regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Schools.
After studying online at FUNiX, students can have three options for their study period at CityU:study in the US for two years, study CityU’s online programfor one year and in the US for the other, or study online completely in these 2 years. Students who complete an undergraduate program will be eligible to participate in the Optional Practical Training (OPT) and stay in the US to work for up to 36 months.
The cooperation between FUNiX and CityU promotes the training high-quality IT human resources, which is considered the core of the development of all professions in the future. At the signing ceremony, CityU President Randy Frisch expressed his appreciation for FUNiX’s efforts in using innovative approaches, providing educational opportunities for anyone who has the desire to study and pursue a career in the IT industry.
