FUNiX provides learning system for international universities
With this learning system, students can access the best training programs of many universities in the world, while participating in a diverse international student community on a unified online platform coordinated by FUNiX.
On September 24, 2021, Gunma University (Japan) held a press conference to announce its next five-year strategy with a focus on building a smart university connection system, Smart Campus to Campus (SCC). The project will be run on the platform provided by FUNiX (a member of FPT Corporation).
SCC promotes international training cooperation in the context of the new normal
The COVID-19 pandemic has been affecting all aspects of social life. For universities, COVID-19 not only affects normal teaching & learning activities but also international cooperation activities. In this context, the use of online platforms is seen as an important solution so as not to disrupt training activities and connection between universities.
SCC uses FUNiX’s platform to cross-share learning materials and online courses among member universities. FUNiX also plays the role of a coordination center, organizing exchange activities and creating a vibrant international student community in an online environment.
In addition, SCC also creates a facility that allows member universities to recognize each other’s credits, or build a joint training program that allows students to study and receive degrees from different universities at the same time.
Representatives of Gunma University and FUNiX shared that SCC is welcoming the participation of top universities in Japan, Australia, the US and the UK.
The press conference had the presence of many major press & media agencies in Japan such as NHK, Yomiuri Shimbun, Mainichi Shimbun, Romo Shimbun, Gunma TV…At the event, representatives of Japanese media participating asked many questions to learn about FUNiX’s system as well as the Smart Campus to Campus project. The questions revolved around the content of the training program and the learning support system on the online platform.

Thanks to this training model, students can access the best training programs of many universities, while still having the chance to participate in a diverse international student community on a unified online platform coordinated by FUNiX”.
